There are three Village Meetings scheduled starting at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16 in the board room at 2200 Harnish Drive. A Public Hearing for the establishment of Special Service Area (SSA) Number 10 (Algonquin Meadows) within the Village of Algonquin will be at 7:25 p.m. (A SSA is utilized as a backup for the Village in case the homeowner’s association does not maintain the common area landscape/open space.) The Village Board meeting will follow. Agenda items include: previous meeting minutes; bills/payroll expenses for payment; approve a lot size and corner side yard setback variation for 190 Wildwood Road; an agreement with GKG Property, LLC & Sparkle K LLC for the use of the patio at 101S. Main St.; an agreement with Trotter and Associates for the Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) Recertification in the amount of $27,800.00; the financial commitment in the Safe Routes to Schools Grant Program; an agreement with Flow Technics Inc. for the purchase of replacement pumps for the Algonquin Shores Lift Station in the amount of $102,208.00; an agreement with Copenhaver Construction, Inc. for the Spella Park retaining wall replacement in the amount of $362,871.85; an agreement with B&B Holiday Decorations for the down town holiday lights in the amount of $45,791.19; and an agreement with standard equipment for the purchase of the Envirosight RovverX Package with MEPS Power System installed in a Ford Transit in the amount of $289,402.68.
