Village Meetings (3) - Tuesday, May 19

The Village Board will be meeting for the Liquor Commission Special Meeting starting at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19th in the Board Room at 2200 Harnish Drive. Immediately following the Liquor Commission Meeting will be the Village Board Meeting. Village Board Meeting agenda items include: a presentation of the Life Saving Award to Sarah Peters and Edder Cedillo; a presentation of Departmental Commendation to Sarah Peters;  a presentation of Unit Commendations to Sarah Peters, Edder Cedillo, and Derrick Moore; bills/payroll expenses for payment; prior meeting minutes; voting on items from the previous COW Meeting; a Public Event License for Lucky Strike and the Cary-Grove Masonic Lodge #1157 on May 24, 2026, for a Classic Car Show at 1611 South Randall Road; a Public Event License for St. Margaret Mary Church on June 7, 2026, for the Corpus Christi Procession at 111 South Hubbard Street, and Waiving the Public Event License Fee; and a Public Event/Entertainment License for the Art on the Fox Art Festival on September 12 and 13, 2026, and waiving the serving and consumption of alcohol location restrictions for Bold American Fare, Algonquin Public House, Whiskey & Wine, and Cattleman’s Burger and Brew.

A Committee of the Whole Meeting will immediately follow the Village Board Meeting. Agenda items include a major amendment to the Planned Development to allow outdoor storage in the triangle parking area for SmartStop Self Storage; a Public event license for Fox 14 Marina for Summer Saturday food truck events at 811 N. Harrison Street; and 4 Public Works items.  There is a public comment period at the start of each meeting. Please complete the form on the table near the Board Room entrance and hand it to the Village Clerk prior to the meeting.
