The Village Board will be meeting on Tuesday, June 20th starting at 7:30 p.m., 2200 Harnish Drive for two meetings. The Village Board will be voting on items from the last Committee of the Whole meeting. Harrison Street Bridge Open

From the Village of Algonquin: The Village of #Algonquin is excited to announce that the Harrison Street bridge will be reopened by Friday afternoon, and the Riverwalk is now open for use! Crews will still be on-site wrapping up final miscellaneous elements, but the bridge reopening marks the substantial completion of this project. The Village would like to thank everyone for their patience, and we hope to see everyone out enjoying the summer weather on these beautiful new additions to Old Town Algonquin.

Committee of the Whole Meeting - June 13

The Committee of the Whole will be meeting on Tuesday, June 13 at 7:30 pm. 2200 Harnish Drive to discuss special service areas, outdoor storage special use permit, special event licenses, herbicide management, lead service line replacement, change orders, and tree removal along the west side of Sandbloom Road utility easement. Village Meetings - June 6

There are two meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 6th starting with the Liquor Commission at 7:25 p.m. A new business at 409 S. Main has submitted an application for an A-1 liquor license. The Village Board will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. regarding: proclamation of Pollinator Week; approve prior meeting minutes; approve bills for payment; adopt resolution on replacement fencing at Countryside Standpipe; adopt a resolution on motor control center replacement for Wells 7 & 11; and amend Ch 43.39 Video Gaming Terminals. All meetings are in the board room at 2200 Harnish Drive. There is a public comment period at the beginning of the Village Board meeting. Please register prior to the meeting. The Village Board will be meeting starting at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16 for a Liquor Commission Meeting, Village Board Meeting and Committee of the Whole Meeting. There will also be a Public Works Week (May 21-27) proclamation and a June Pride Month proclamation. The Committee of the Whole will be discussing fence replacement around the Countryside Standpipe and replacement of motor control center for Well 7 & 11. High Hill - Road Construction

From the Village of Algonquin: Please note that if you live or travel through the High Hill subdivision, the contractor has notified the Village that they will place the first asphalt layer for the roadways throughout the north side of the project area this week. Due to the high volume of trucks needed, flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic. We ask for your patience and caution when traveling in the work zone.

Randall Over 90

Kane County Division of Transportation will be hosting two public information meetings, with in-person and live virtual sessions, to discuss potential improvements to Randall Road between Big Timber Road on the south and Illinois Route 72 on the north, with a particular focus on its interchange with I-90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway).
